Teacher Acclimation Program - Estrella Foothills High School

"People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing." ~ Dale Carnegie

Welcome to our school!

We would like to welcome all of our new teachers to the district, to Estrella Foothills.  Whether you are new to teaching, or merely new to the district, the amount of new information thrown at you can be overwhelming.  This site was designed to give you one more place to turn so you can focus on your teaching, rather than your questions.  Although budget cuts prevent us from having a formal Teacher Acclimation Program this year, it is still important to us that you have all the tools you need to succeed, and we will always be TAP mentors at heart.  Do not hesitate to ask either of us if you should need help at any point.

TAP Mentors

Monica Godfrey -  Monica has been a faculty member at EFHS since the school opened in 2001.  She is the Physical Education department chair, and also teaches a section of Career & College Prep. Monica was honored as the 2005 Westside Impact Teacher of the Year at Estrella Foothills.

Kristen Kohli - This is Kristen's eighth year teaching at Estrella Foothills High School. Before moving to Arizona in June, 2004, she taught at Millington Central High School, just outside of Memphis, Tennessee.  She is a native of the Chicago suburbs.  In addition to her TAP responsibilities, Kristen teaches a full course load and is the Science department chair. Kristen was the 2006 Westside Impact Teacher of the Year at Estrella Foothills.

We both are here to help, and happy to do so.

Finding Your Way Around

Links to TAP-specific resources can always be found in the Navigation panel on the left.  "Home" will return you to this page.  Links to home and to the District website can always be found at the bottom of the page.  If you don't see what you need, ask one of us!

Congratulations and welcome!
